*  Chlorella cells  *

Chlorella is a single cell green micro algae. The shape of the cell is round, and the diameter is about 2 to 10μm.
Scientists believe that Chlorella was born on the earth about 2 billion years ago.

In taxonomy Chlorella is positioned Green Algae plant, Chlorophyceae, The order of Chlorococcales, The family of Oocystaceae, The genus of Chlorella. Futhermore, as Chlorella seeds it is classified into Vulgaris, Ellipsoidea, Pyrenoidosa, and so on.

Chlorella uses the solar energy very efficiently. For it contains well-balanced beneficial nutrients as proteins, minerals, etc and chlorophyll, Chlorella was studied in world level for the future's food to solve the problem of food deficiency. Medicinal effects were discovered in Chlorella and CGF, characteristic physical activator. Chlorella is highly attracting attention not only as a nutrient supplement, but also for the physical effects of keeping health. In Japan many people have loved it for a long time as one of the leading health foods.

Yaeyama Chlorella is cultivated doing photosynthesis with clean water and air under the tropical sunshine by the outdoor cultivation system.

High potential in photosynthesis and energetic multiplication.
Especially abundant chlorophyll and carotenoids contained.
Abundant protein, vitamins, minerals and chlorella extract.

ACQUIRED ISO9001-HACCP CERTIFICATION

We acquired the ISO9001-HACCP certification in December 2004. We continue to supply further safety, hygienic and high quality Chlorella foods to the world.

Although chlorella resembles the spinach and the Japanese pumpkin as food, many nutrition ingredients are contained. Therefore, chlorella can be used as a substitute of green-yellow vegetables, and it can be considered that it is a supplement of people with insufficient vegetables.

Rescently, it attracts attention that many natural pigments, such as chlorophyll, carotene, and Lutein, are contained in chlorella. Those pigments are known if an anti-oxidization action is strong.

(Patent No.3277372)

Yaeyama Chlorella Cultivation Method was patented by Japan Patent Office.

Ishigaki-Jima Factory has developed and established their manufacturing technologies to let their outdoor sunray cultivation system boost up the contents of photosynthetic pigments (= Chlorophyll, Carotenoid etc) in their chlorella products throughout the year. Chlorophyll works to exhaust dioxin out of the body, and carotenoids like beta-carotene, lutein, etc, function as an antioxidant to combat surplus super oxides.

Content of Chlorophyll 3,800〜5,000mg/100g
Content of Vitamin A
(in the from carotenoids)
85,000〜100,000 IU/100g
