Although chlorella resembles the spinach and the Japanese pumpkin as food, many nutrition ingredients are contained. Therefore, chlorella can be used as a substitute of green-yellow vegetables,and it can be considered that it is a supplement of people with insufficient vegetables.

Yaeyama Chlorella Cultivation Method was patented by Japan Patent Office. Ishigaki-Jima Factory has developed and established their manufacturing technologies to let their outdoor sunray cultivation system boost up the contents of photosynthetic pigments (= Chlorophyll, Carotenoid etc) in their chlorella products throughout the year. Chlorophyll works to exhaust dioxin out of the body, and carotenoids like beta-carotene, lutein, etc, function as an antioxidant to combat surplus super oxides.
