We patented the Chlorella cultivation system to enhance chlorophyll content

We established the manufacturing technology that allows stable production of Chlorella containing 3,800 to 5,000 mg/100 g chlorophyll and 85,000 to 100,000 IU/100 g vitamin A by outdoor cultivation throughout the year.

The invented Chlorella has the advantage of high content of photosynthetic pigments, such as chlorophyll and carotenoids, and it was produced by the natural, outdoor cultivation system under the sun. This was not achieved by means of enhancing particular constituents by special techniques, but by the technology of keeping Chlorella's growth environment sanitary at the natural rate of growth. The patent was made possible by the natural environment of Ishigaki Island, in particular, clean air, groundwater rich in minerals, and the blessings of the sun.

It is reported that carotenoids, such as beta-carotene and lutein, have antioxidative activities to eliminate provitamin A activity and reactive oxygen species, and that chlorophyll has the effect of excreting dioxin from the body. Chlorella's roles as an alternative to green and yellow vegetables are increasing. The values of the Chlorella extract as well as the Chlorella containing a large amount of photosynthetic pigments will be increasingly higher.

We obtained Kosher Certification on Yaeyama Chlorella powder and Yaeyama Chlorella tablets from OK Kosher Certification on November 18 , which we had worked on since the previous year.
